Singing together enriches all people – big and small!
Since Børnesalmebogen was published in 2011, Sille Grønberg and Palle Windfeldt have played concerts for and with children at services in many of the country’s churches and also worked closely with several of the Danish Church’s School Services.
The focal point of the concerts is the beautiful Danish hymns, but also the fact that children primarily experience through their senses, therefore not only the singing voice, but the whole body is involved when the Salmeswing is offered.
“The packed Stengård church was set in motion by Denmark’s probably best children’s musicians Sille Grønberg and Palle Windfeldt. They played Ingemann’s famous hymns with clapping, bouncing and singing children and adults. “
“There was dancing in the aisle of the church, but also singing and clapping for the big gold medal when Sille and Palle invited to Salmeswing in Bov Church.”
“The two musicians did not have to spend many minutes before they were on wavelength with the children, which they included in the concert. The mood was high, there was dancing, singing and ‘rhythm’ in the beautiful church room, so it was a light.”
